Aria's Mom

OK - pre-planning can either be fun or not so fun. Since I am my own travel agent, I must exhaust myself with weighing all options. I'm pooped! This is for June, 2008, and I'm already stressed. Tell me it's worth it! Tell me something to give me stamina to forge ahead. An update on what my awesome husband is up to these days....

http://www.rigzone.com/news/article.asp?a_id=50359

This is what he's involved in right now. He hears that that they are expecting to find 1 trillion cubic feet of natural gas on the well that his rig is currently working on, in Columbia.

You go....baby!

Is it Fall yet? It feels like Fall, in Round Rock!

The new school year is off to an awesome start. Aria is learning just what it means to be a 4th grader (responsibilities and all)! I'm struggling with having to accept that she's growing up and will soon be learning much about adolescence and what lies ahead. I know. I'll deal with it. She loves her new "power tumble" class at Acrotex. She's doing a lot of trampoline and "nailing" her basic tumbling skills on the floor. Her Girl Scout meetings started last week and they have a busy calendar for this year. The scouts will be doing a lot of community service (meaning, so will Mom).
Although he was recently home much longer than normal, Mark is now in Columbia. He says his travel there went well, considering it was all privately done by Transocean (security and all). I know he is very busy. Let's hope that their efforts there produce a positive outcome and that Columbia (and Transocean) are excited about the results.
So far, so good with Talen's 3rd grade year at school. He loves his new teacher and she has been extraordinarily gracious in accepting him and doing everything possible to make the start of his year a positive one. He just finished his HBOT treatments (hyperbaric oxygen treatment) at Thoughtful House and so we'll be eager to see what resulted from the 40 dives we all endured.
Now that Fall is knocking on our door, it sets in motion my need to rearrange (that for which was started this past weekend). The holidays are going to slap the back of my head at any moment. Perhaps a little meditation will put things into prospective. NOT!
Hope you're looking forward to raking the leaves. Aria loves to jump in them. However, I have none. Ask Mark about why we have no trees :) ....
