Aria's Mom

The boys are back in town! Roman and Isaak spent the weekend with us in honor of Aria's birthday. They've partied, watched movies, played ball, gone swimming, played games...I think they will all crash come bed time tonight. They have certainly enjoyed each others company and been great companions all weekend.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARIA! Our "baby" turned 9, on June 22nd. We were to have a pool party, but the weather dictated otherwise. We landed at Ready, Set, Play! for lots of jumping. 22 friends and cousins showed up to join the celebration. Moms and Dads got to chat on the comfy couches and in the party room. Not bad, for last minute, and Aria had a good time, despite the change of plans. What a lucky girl to have so many people love you!

We are into summer and it's been busy, to say the least. Aria finished her first Girl Scout "day" Camp last week. An entire week of roughing it outdoors from 8 to 3, each day. Surprisingly, she enjoyed it and wants to do it again. This week, she is getting to enjoy "Avalanche Ranch" Vacation Bible School each morning.

On a sad note, we had to let our Missy go on Tuesday. She was sick and there didn't seem to be a way we could save her from pain this time. It was a very emotional day for all of us and although Katie knows something is different, she is doing okay. Aria is having to learn about the circle of life and trusts that God knows best.

Life goes on and we, now, have a birthday party to prepare for. Our "baby" turns 9 on Friday. A pool party it is. So, lets just pray for good weather and at least a little breeze.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY "Daddio"!
I'd say, the boys are outnumbered....
