Aria's Mom

Wednesday, May 30, 2007

Back to where it all started. Oh - how I've missed the mountains. Just returned from our trip to Denver, Colorado. We traveled, visited friends and family, and had a great time. Aria got to see where Mom & Dad met. We saw so much, in such a short time (Denver Zoo; Denver Museum of Natural History; The North Pole; Cave of the Winds; rode the Cog Railway, up 14,110 feet, to the top of Pike's Peak; Garden of the Gods; Flying W Ranch; Royal Gorge (panned for gold and other treasures), Red Rocks Amplitheater; Coors Brewery....) My friend, Jeannie, drove from Wyoming to see us. Aria met her Great Great Aunt & Uncle, second & third cousins, and made friends everywhere we went. I, personally, was so happy to be there. I, now, can't wait to go back!

4th Grade - here we come!

Monday, May 14, 2007

Time is rushing by! Aria has 6 school days left. She is then, officially, a 4th grader. Mother's Day came and went. Aria was blessed with two school awards, at awards chapel today. We leave for DENVER! on the 23rd. I can't wait. Mark and I have not been back since moving from there in 1994. I don't think I've been this excited about a vacation in a looooong time! In fact, I'm so overwhelmed with all of the happenings of late, I've broken out in a rash, all up my arms (especially my left arm). I can't revel in the joy without some kind of trauma.
